Gwobrau Rhagoriaeth Gwaith Ieuenctid – ymestyn y dyddiad cau

Mae’r Gwobrau Rhagoriaeth Gwaith Ieuenctid yn gyfle i gydnabod a dathlu prosiectau gwaith ieuenctid rhagorol.

Am y tro cyntaf, mae cyfle eleni i ddarparu tystiolaeth fideo i gefnogi enwebiad.

Ry’n ni eisoes wedi derbyn nifer o enwebiadau rhagorol gan sefydliadau ledled Cymru, ond mae sawl un wedi gofyn am amser ychwanegol i gwblhau eich enwebiadau yn dilyn cyfnod prysur dros yr haf.

Mae’r dyddiad cau ar gyfer enwebiadau felly wedi ei ymestyn i hanner dydd ar dydd Gwener, 31 Hydref. Mae manylion pellach ar sut i enwebu ar gael yma.

Youth Work Excellence Awards – closing date extended

The Youth Work Excellence Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate outstanding youth work projects.  

New for this year is the opportunity to provide video testimony.

We have already received many excellent nominations from organisations right across Wales but many of you have asked for additional time to complete your nominations following a busy summer period.

Mae Wythnos yr Ymddiriedolwyr yn cael ei chynnal rhwng 3 a 7 Tachwedd yn 2025 ac rydym yn rhedeg cyfres o ddigwyddiadau am ddim i nodi’r achlysur.

BETH YW WYTHNOS YR YMDDIRIEDOLWYR?

Digwyddiad blynyddol yw wythnos yr ymddiriedolwyr i ddangos y gwaith gwych y mae ymddiriedolwyr yn ei wneud ac i amlygu’r cyfleoedd i bobl o bob cefndir i gymryd rhan a gwneud gwahaniaeth.

Thema eleni yw Dathlu, Ysbrydoli a Chefnogi. Rydyn ni’n dathlu’r wythnos hon drwy gynnal cyfres o ddigwyddiadau i ymddiriedolwyr (a’r rhai a hoffai wybod mwy am ddod yn un) gymryd rhan ynddynt.

Trustees’ Week takes place from 3 – 7 November in 2025 and we’re running a series of free events to mark the occasion.

WHAT IS TRUSTEES’ WEEK?

Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight the opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. 

This year’s theme is Celebrating, Inspiring and Supporting. We’re celebrating this week by hosting a series of free online events for trustees (and those who’d like to know more about becoming one) to participate in.

Join the Keeping safe online youth group – Hwb

A national initiative that empowers young people to shape the future of online safety in Wales, the group is open to learners aged 13 to 16. The group brings together diverse voices from across the country to share experiences, discuss digital trends, and advise on the challenges young people face online.

Participants will:

• join at least 4 virtual meetings between November 2025 and March 2026
• attend one in-person event, typically aligned with Safer Internet Day
• contribute to creative projects, such as short videos and feedback on Keeping safe online content
• help shape advice for schools, families, and other young people

The group is facilitated by Praesidio Safeguarding, a globally recognised online safety agency, and aims to create an inclusive, respectful space for all participants. Applications are especially encouraged from individuals in underrepresented communities, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ youth, disabled learners, and those with lived experience of care or migration.

Menter genedlaethol sy’n agored i ddysgwyr rhwng 13 ac 16 oed, sy’n grymuso pobl ifanc i lunio dyfodol diogelwch ar-lein yng Nghymru. Mae’r grŵp yn dod â lleisiau amrywiol o bob cwr o’r wlad ynghyd i rannu profiadau, trafod tueddiadau digidol, a chynghori ar yr heriau y mae pobl ifanc yn eu hwynebu ar-lein.

Bydd cyfranogwyr yn:

• ymuno ag o leiaf 4 cyfarfod rhithiol rhwng Tachwedd 2025 a Mawrth 2026
• mynychu un digwyddiad wyneb yn wyneb, sy’n debygol o fod yn cyd-fynd â Diwrnod Defnyddio’r Rhyngrwyd yn Fwy Diogel
• cyfrannu at brosiectau creadigol, megis fideos byr ac adborth ar gynnwys Cadw’n ddiogel ar-lein
• helpu i lunio cyngor i ysgolion, teuluoedd, a phobl ifanc eraill

Mae’r grŵp yn cael ei hwyluso gan Praesidio Safeguarding, asiantaeth diogelwch ar-lein a gydnabyddir yn fyd-eang, a’i nod yw creu gofod cynhwysol, parchus i’r holl gyfranogwyr. Anogir ceisiadau’n arbennig gan unigolion mewn cymunedau sydd wedi’u tangynrychioli, gan gynnwys lleiafrifoedd ethnig, pobl ifanc LHDTC+, dysgwyr anabl, a’r rhai sydd â phrofiad byw o fod mewn gofal neu fudo.

Ymgynghoriad ar God Allanoli Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus a’r Gweithlu drafft o dan Ddeddf Partneriaeth Gymdeithasol a Chaffael Cyhoeddus (Cymru) 2023 

Consultation on the draft Public Services Outsourcing and Workforce Code under the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023 

Annwyl gydweithiwr   Yn ddiweddar, mae’r Gweinidog Diwylliant, Sgiliau a Phartneriaeth Gymdeithasol wedi lansio’r ymgynghoriad cyhoeddus ar y Cod Allanoli Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus a’r Gweithlu drafft o dan Ddeddf Partneriaeth Gymdeithasol a Chaffael Cyhoeddus (Cymru) 2023.   Mae’r ymgynghoriad yn rhoi cyfle pwysig i randdeiliaid wneud sylwadau ar y Cod Allanoli Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus a’r Gweithlu drafft. Gofynnir am farn ynghylch a yw’r cod yn adlewyrchu bwriad y polisi, sydd wedi’i setlo a’i seilio ar Ddeddf Partneriaeth Gymdeithasol a Chaffael Cyhoeddus (Cymru).    Rydym yn croesawu’n arbennig ymatebion gan awdurdodau contractio a restrir yn Atodlen 1 i Ddeddf Partneriaeth Gymdeithasol a Chaffael Cyhoeddus (Cymru) 2023, yn ogystal â chyflenwyr i’r sector cyhoeddus ac eraill sydd â diddordeb yn y Ddeddf, Deddf Llesiant Cenedlaethau’r Dyfodol (Cymru) 2015, a chaffael yn ehangach.   Os hoffech gyfrannu at yr ymgynghoriad, dylid cyflwyno eich ymatebion drwy lenwi’r ffurflen ar-lein hon. Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer cyflwyno ymatebion yw 14:00 ar 3 Rhagfyr 2025.

Dear colleague   The Minister for Culture, Skills and Social Partnership has recently launched the public consultation on the draft Public Services Outsourcing and Workforce Code under the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023.   This consultation provides stakeholders with an important opportunity to comment on the draft Public Services Outsourcing and Workforce Code. Views are sought on whether the code reflects the policy intent, which is settled and grounded in the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act.    We particularly encourage responses from contracting authorities listed in Schedule 1 of the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023, as well as suppliers to the public sector and others with an interest in the Act, the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, and procurement more broadly.   Should you wish to contribute to the consultation, your responses should be submitted by completing this online form. The closing date for submission of responses is 14:00 on 3 December 2025.

Chris Buchan, lead for Welsh Government’s Third Sector Policy and Support team, outlines the steps being taking to ensure the updated funding code of practice is being used across Welsh Government.

Everyone at CWVYS is very saddened to hear the news that Pauline Richards has passed away. In addition to her roles as a long-term Trustee of Interlink in RCT, Pauline worked for Valleys Kids as a Programme Director.

We remember Pauline best here as a stalwart, passionate and very supportive CWVYS Trustee for a number of years.

Pauline’s funeral will be held on 10 September, in Coychurch, followed by a celebration of her life at Soar, in Tonypandy.

Our sincere condolences to Pauline’s family and friends and to all our colleagues at Valleys Kids’.

Mae pawb yma yn CWVYS yn drist iawn o glywed y newyddion am farwolaeth Pauline Richards. Yn ogystal â’i rôl fel ymddiriedolwr hirdymor i Interlink yn RCT, bu Pauline yn gweithio i ‘Valleys Kids’ fel Cyfarwyddwr Rhaglen.
