The report reflects the issues and priorities that children and young people across Wales have raised with us over the past year and sets out the action we believe is needed to improve children’s rights, wellbeing and life chances.
Recommendations include:
• Full incorporation of the UNCRC into Welsh law.
• Stronger action to tackle child poverty.
• Improvements to the Additional Learning Needs system.
• Ensuring children’s and young people’s views are heard and acted upon in decision-making.
