The Venture Integrated Children’s Centre is based in Caia Park, and was first established as an adventure playground in 1978.
Our open-access play provision continues to this day with generations of children growing-up through The Venture – this journey of growth is now complemented by a Welsh Government ‘Flying Start’ Early Years Centre and an alternative education programme (VAL Project) targeting young people identified as being at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training). We also run a Home Educators group and an independent Youth Club.
