Ethnic Youth Support Team (EYST) is an award-winning, beneficiary-led voluntary Organisation supportinh BME young people ages 11-25 living in Wales.

It was set up in 2005 by a group of young ethnic minority people in Swansea. It’s aim was to fill a gap in provision by providing a targeted and culturally sensitive service which could support BME (black minority ethnic) young people in the areas of education, employment, health, housing and community safety.

EYST is now the leading BME Youth organisation in Wales, and has a state of the art Drop In Centre based in Swansea. Our core services to BME young people include metoring, advice, guidence and support to young BME people aged 11-25.

We acheive this through wokring closely i partnership with schools, colleges, and ey organisations in the field of employment, education, health, social care and community safety, as well as thorugh sensitive family and community liaison, which forms and integral part of our support package to BME young people.
