It’s a valuable tradition that empowers the youth of Wales to create and inspire humanitarian activity internationally. \nThe message is created into a short film and will be available to share from the Urdd’s social media accounts on 17 May 24 | 7:30am BST. \n2024 Theme:\nThis year’s Message honours the legacy of the Welsh Women’s Peace Petition of 1923-1924\, signed by 390\,296 women across Wales. A hundred years later\, the young women of Wales reaffirm the need to advocate for peace. The message inspires us to act for peace. SUMMARY:Creative Arts Meeting Public Health - ETS Cymru training
DESCRIPTION:The training has been framed around ‘Circle of security’ relationship-based principles. Specifically\, they aim to focus on; identifying emotions\, building reflective capacity and building narrative and meaning making skills. It is hoped that the programme will begin to equip children and young people with skills that will help them identify their own emotions\, the emotions of others and some principal skills in how to problem solve relationship? based issues. DESCRIPTION:This webinar is presented by the Welsh Language Implementation Participation Group\, one of five groups established to support the work of the Youth Work Strategy Implementation Board. \n  \nOne of the key recommendations within the ‘Time to deliver for young people in Wales’ report was that “The Welsh Government should increase the availability of youth work services through the medium of Welsh. It should also ensure that promoting youth work through the medium of Welsh is a key priority for the national body”. \n  \nWe want to discover the good practices happening across Wales and the sector’s challenges. This will contribute to developing this recommendation and other aspects of our work. \n  \nIn this webinar\, we will share some of the work happening on a national level\, many of which are new and continuing to be developed. We will discuss the priorities that were put in place for the next steps. \n  \nThe Welsh Language IPG wants to see a strategic framework being developed that clearly sets out how a cross-section of organisations will purposely plan to increase the number of youth work services available through the medium of Welsh. Therefore\, we want to hear from various organisations to develop this conversation further.
