Viva! is a registered charity working with young people aged between 11 and 25 who live in Rhondda Cynon Taff. Viva! was established in 1992 to facilitate and create quality leisure and training opportunities for young people with and without disabilities.

The ethos of Viva! is to enable and support all of its youth members to become fully involved in community activities. The aim is to challenge members to raise their aspirations and broaden their experiences and abilities while encouraging them to develop greater independence and make more informed choices for themselves. At the same time we expect to raise community awareness accepting disabled young people as valued citizens. Members engage in a wide range of chosen activities from the design and selection of the monthly activity flyer, to environmental projects, fun trips away, bowling, swimming, rock climbing, cinema, theatre, arts/crafts, drama, music workshops, outdoor pursuits, sporting activities, cookery courses and local community events. Members are also involved in our Health and Wellbeing programme.

Viva! (Wales) now works with children and young people ages 11-30 years old.
