Talking Hands is a youth club for Deaf young people, and hearing children of Deaf parents aged 10 to 17 yrs, we meet regularly on Friday nights 6.30pm to 9.00pm
We run 'normal' youth club activities like arts and crafts, games, wii games, snooker and we gym equipment.
We run trips vists and residentials for young people to have fun, make friends, training and workshops.
We have now expanded to provide a family support group (tiddlers) for parents of Deaf children 0-6yrs. and hearing children of deaf parents. The group meet regularly n Saturday mornings 12pm to 3pm. They provide opportunity for parents to share experience, have information and guest speakers, and give the children the opportunity to play and make friends.
